I was recently appointed by Robert & Michelle to undertake the sale of their Investment property located at Northlakes.

Upon inspection of the property, I found it to be in urgent need of repairs/improvements if they were to achieve their desired $ outcome as the property was built in 2003 and was showing signs of its age.

The repairs/improvements included- painting the whole house inside and out, replacement of two vanities and damaged tiles, new window coverings installed, damaged door locks and flyscreens replaced and the garden was barely existent and overgrown.

I suggested to Rob and Michelle they utilise the services of a local handyman or tradesmen to undertake the repairs prior to the commencement of the marketing campaign, not realising at the time that Rob and Michelle in fact possessed these skills themselves.

Over the next three weeks, I watched as they both transformed the property from a rundown tired dwelling into a well presented, refreshed home. I was amazed at their skill levels, Rob on the construction side of things and Michelle with her painting, décor and design skills. Not only were they talented but also great, easy going people so an absolute dream to get along with.

As a result of their hard work, I was able to achieve a much better than expected $ result, netting an extra $30,000 that I knew they would not of have achieved without it because presentation is EVERYTHING!

I now understand that Rob and Michelle have commenced their own Handyman/woman business and after seeing first-hand the finished product from their recent renovation, I would have no hesitation in recommending them both if you require the services of a Handyman/woman team.

When we recently decided to close in an extra room under the house, we had no real idea of how to go about it. We knew that Rob & Michelle had both renovated many houses, and we liked what they had done, so asked them to help us out.

Michelle was great with the design concept, allowing us to make the best use of the small space we had. Rob then co-ordinated and competed most of the work for us, including the framing, painting and installation of robes etc. He then co-ordinated the extra services we needed including the electrician and plumber.

We were over the moon with the end result, it was done in a very timely manner and came in right on budget. If we had to do it all again we would definitely get Rob and Michelle to do the job and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for repairs to be carried out or renovations to be completed.

We recently had Maleny Handyman Services build a small deck on the side of our unit. Rob was very prompt and came around two days after my call to measure up, whereas I am still waiting on a quote from a company from Coolum.

Within a few days he had sent me the quote, which was quite a bit below my budget. I accepted and approximately a week later supplies arrived along with Rob to commence construction.

Rob is meticulous about his work very thorough and had no issues about me helping where possible. He also has a delightful daughter who is very capable and who helped a few days.

I changed my requirements three times during construction and Rob happily obliged. Rob's attitude is if you want it he can make it happen. The end result is exactly what I had visualised it would be.
